JK Tyre honoured with ICC Social Impact Award for its Water Conservation Initiative
JK Tyre & Industries has received the ICC Social Impact Award 2024 under the Clean Water and Sanitation category for its impactful water conservation initiatives that have benefited over 200,000 people across communities near its manufacturing facilities.
Leading tyre manufacturer JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. has been honoured with the prestigious ICC Social Impact Award 2024 under the Clean Water and Sanitation category for its impactful water conservation initiatives. The award was presented during the 6th edition of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Social Impact Awards held in Kolkata.
The award was conferred by Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose, Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, and received by Mr. B.S. Dagar, Head – IR & CSR, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, JK Tyre has implemented extensive water conservation programs in villages surrounding its manufacturing facilities. Over the past five years, the company has developed more than 100 water conservation structures, helping communities improve water availability and move towards water self-sufficiency.
These initiatives have positively impacted more than 200,000 people, enhancing access to water resources while strengthening sustainable community development.
